Bubinga was a popular veneer in the 90’s. The largest project Elton Group supplied Bubinga to was to the Park Hyatt in Melbourne, a no cost spared fit out designed locally by the Buchan Group in collaboration with the Hyatt’s US designer who spent a full week in the Elton Group Brooklyn warehouse in selection, turning through every piece of veneer. Quilted and figured Bubinga was also specified in the corporate headquarters of Mobil in Australia.
