The International Convention of Asia Scholars will take place in Surabaya, East Java, 28 July – 1 August 2024. This convention is a unique combination of conference and festival that connects visiting scholars to the local culture of Surabaya. The Knowledge House for Craft will feature at the conference as a roundtable and exhibition, Craft Voice.
Over the years, Garland has gathered an inspiring collection of stories about Indonesian craft. With the assistance of our perennial, Janet Teowarang, these have been curated into a feature of our Garden of Stories: Kampoeng.
